no one has ever asked for my birth certificate / passport for my driving license, i dont really understand that
Normally a licence can be countersigned by an approved person the same way a passport would be (doctor, lawyer etc.)
Just thought i would update this, i was unsuccessful with the original cement mixer job, but he passed my details onto another local quarry, have been there today and went out on 1 of their local runs to get a feel for it all, i wasn’t driving though.
Start next week on a trial basis and go from there, so fingers crossed! oh and thanks for all the advice too.
Good luck with the trial gives you a chance to see what they are like too see how they operate as much as them seeing how you get on.
