Winston Churchill called for ‘Human Rights Charter’ in the aftermath of World War II. He spoke about the strength derived from our sense of common values, and the Charter being “guarded by freedom and sustained by law” which ensured that “people owned the government, and not the government the people” (speech at The Hague , 1948).If that’s the case he should of repelled the 1666 Cestui Que Vie, which still hasn’t been repelled or replaced.
legislation.gov.uk/aep/Cha2/18-19/11
“There are currently no known outstanding effects for the Cestui Que Vie Act 1666.”And although it is still on the statute books it was effectively replaced by The Presumption Of Death Act 2013
legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/201 … 013_en.pdfIt’s still relevant today, as anyone who has accessed there account to pay utilities or any other things can testify.
Really? Seems surprising to me.
Im just about anyone, pay utility bills, and can testify I
ve never noticed it`s effects.
What have I missed?

Thats some seriously interesting stuff there, salutations all round. Is it true the American flag when fringed with golden trim is an overt signal that Admiralty law is in full effect?could be the source of nautical terminology ie…;in the dock" when in court for example,or “birth canal” (berth) when being born.Very arcane principles for sure, but when you catch a glimpse of what happens in the very higher echelons of power, then it tends to get exceptionally murky indeed,Baal,
Moloch worship…(ship)!..theres that word again.

Savid Javid has asked the public to say which EU Regulation they want to get rid of first. What would you ditch first?
In drivers hours:
- Ban the 9 hour rest reduction unless taken away from base.
- Allow 3 x 15 minute driving breaks as a minimum (instead of this useless 15 + 30) so long as there is ■■■■■■■■■■■■ no more than 4.5 hours driving between 45 minutes in total rest breaks. A 15 min break is often useless whereas in a 20 - 25 minute break you can usually get some scran.
A 15 min break is just about a ■■■■ break at a MSA!
so drivers would be legal to carrying on working, as in get back to the yard and set off again, but if the load wasn’t ready or they just wanted to go home they’d be illegal once over 13 hours?
It was changed from 3x15s to stop
drive 1 min
break 30
drive 4:29
break 15
Drive 4:30
As the extreme example, I can’t see it ever being changed back because of this, not sure what you mean by not more than 4.5 between a 45 as that would mean you couldn’t split a 45
Thanks for this. What I would want to achieve is a ‘sensible’ break that allows someone to stop and getting something to eat - hot - and be driving again other than a 45. If you allowed 3 x 15 min as a minim it would allow you a 20 and a 25 say. In my experience the quickest I can eat something at a small cafe is probably 20-25 mins depending on how quick they are/cooking time.
I take a salad most days with me but if you are out 12/13 hours plus this time of year I want something hot to eat too.
In your example that is hardly different to what you can do now. Drive 4:30 break 45 Drive 4:30. So in 9.45 hours of work you have had 45 minutes rest. In your example it is the same. What I was saying was in effect why can’t a 20 min break count leaving 25 to take instead of 15 and a 30.
I used to love 3 x 15 mins. Job and knock at the time on multidrop

Of any positives to come out of leaving the EU, the one I would really love to see the most is the absolute bombshell for transport planners up and down the country:Abolition of the 9 hour reduced daily rest. 15 hour shifts, consigned to the history bin and not before time. I’d pay to see CCTV footage of that news being delivered to the Stobart planners and the like.
what are gb domestic hours then because if we get rid of the eu hours the gov wont bring in new hours that cost their mates money.
I very much hope for all our sakes that the EU driver regs and the need for digital tachographs is fully adopted as UK law as i’m sure it will be. I would be up for some amendments (like scrapping the 9hr reduced rest) but overall we should be thankful for the EU regs as they do a lot to protect drivers from even worse working conditions.
These are the UK domestic regs: gov.uk/guidance/drivers-hou … stic-rules
They certainly don’t fill me with confidence, very little proper control over drivers hours & rest periods, it’d be a free for all.

I think there’s a massive difference in driving 4:29, break 15, drive 4:30, as opposed drive 4:30, break 45, drive 4:30
There’s nothing stopping you taking 20 and 30 or 44 and 30, in your example of 20 and 25, by the current regs it just means you’ll sit there for another 5 mins on the second break, I don’t really see your issue to be honest!
