Parents were in Whetherby services, 28th Feb around 11:30 / 12:30…
After a coffee, they came out to find their car had been scraped quite badly.
People said they saw a black BMW 5 series do it, but couldn’t get it’s reg number in time, as it just sped off once it did it!
They did see the driver though, spilling a whole cup of coffee he was holding all down himself when he did it! (karma? ).
So my question…
Would anyone here have - maybe without realising, some dash cam footage of that area at that time? Or, does anyone know if the services is well covered enough with CCTV to maybe catch the ■■■■■■
Parents have spoken to the site duty manager / police etc, but are still ‘waiting’ for a reply…
Same happened to my with my company Navara, stopped for a brew and come out back n/s wheel arch done. They look at the cameras and it was a white Merc Sprinter but you could not make out the reg.
When I go on there now I park right at the other side of the car park were nobody can be assed to walk over the car park to the services.
Cheers Welly

MSAs and their friends don’t seem to have any problem making out the registration number of vehicles if they park there for two hours and one minute without paying. I’m sure they could phone their mates at CP Plus, tell them the time and date of the incident and get a registration number for the Sprinter van but why would any of the thieving scum spend their time on it if there isn’t a shekel in it for them?
Like Harry say’s…
See if CP Plus or which ever rip off, cowboy, ■■■■, extortion racket company that has the contract to skim motorists can help? There’s cameras on the forecourt too, see if BP can help?
I had my brand new lease car (45 miles on the clock) hit in a car park once. Needed a new door skin and cost me my excess.
I hope you catch the (nasty word) that did it.
