Wheres your head in the bed?

You haven’t had to endure it Tango.

It’s like being promised a rock concert.

But getting a drunk playing the triangle.

Top bunk is folded up, stores clothes, and all the bags I cart all my useless gear about in. Mate of mine insists of sleeping with his head kerbside, as “if you get clobbered, you won’t lose your head” yeah ok

Another merc pilot…So near side for me…

OllieNotts:
I’ve tried both and never settled on the near side for some reason, I believe that it’s illegal to sleep closer then 18 inches to the steering wheel as I was told by an ex SAS member at an RDC once and he assured me he was a driver trainer and knew the regs better then me, but I’m a rebel so I sleep the way that’s best for me even if it is illegal :sunglasses:

if angus 'me coat up ’ nairn shines his torch into your cab ,your nicked laddie :frowning:

Whatever side the controls and switches are on. On every North American truck I’ve had they’ve all being on the left side of the vehicle, drivers side, off side etc.

Bunk ! Bloody hell, you have bunks ? Next thing’ll be bloody heaters and cushions on the seat. :unamused:

On occasions I’ve been that tired I’ve fallen asleep at the wheel( when parked up for night ) , then woken up in night cold and a bit disoriented, but normally o/s

For some odd reason what ever side the steering wheel is on god knows why.
I hope never to sleep in a lorry again so won’t be something I need to worry about.

The best place to put your head on any bunk - is surely the place where the muddy boots of others don’t :bulb: go.

When I first started tramping I got a weird rash, I’d had it when I got hospitalized with my broken leg, so the next time I was in ikea, I got a mattress protector. Never had a problem since.

Double post

How come someone else’s dirt managed to break your leg? :open_mouth: Surely the splints were not flatpack here?

Just saying I first got the rash when in hospital (i.e. not in my bed) got the same rash when I first started tramping.
