■■■■! I thought the photography clue was leading to Northern Optics! 
I cannot see how you can get that view from the North side of the Humber, or do you mean another river? (Or creek)
Graham you are so close I’ll give it to you. I’m on Albert dock next to St Andrews. The estuary curves enough to get that shot.
The photography hint was the fact that I use a mid range DSLR and carry a couple of lenses with me too including a long one which I thought you’d picked up on.
