What town/city and where am I?

Looks like Salisbury Cathedral and I can see a ferris wheel, I know Salisbury had the “Salisbury Eye” last year but thought had gone in August. I will still try Salisbury but I cannot work out where you were parked to get that view.

Yes right on both counts! Photo only taken a few days ago so wheel obviously still there.
I thought that cathedral was too distinctive to last long
