Not very far behind the photographer was a well known truckstop which moved when this town was bypassed…
When the truckstop moved it would be visible in the other pic I’ve put up…

It is indeed London Road, Grantham looking north. Theres an Aldi at the bottom of the hill on the left now. There was a truckstop called Tony’s about half a mile behind the camera.
