Hi Andrew,

Diesel theft has never been a problem in our Truck Stop.

Over night parkers on our site have never had a problem with diesel theft. It’s when they park on the road leading to our site. If they had paid £5.00 over night parking fee they wouldn’t have had a problem. We have 24hour security with a man on site constantly patrolling and I repeat we have never had any diesel theft problems in our yard.

Hi Joel, firstly welcome to trucknet.

Thanks for clearing that up. I assumed it was on the local roads as having stopped there numerous times I hadn’t heard of any issues or problems.
Unfortunately that i think that is just the sad state of affairs that road haulage seems to be in at times these days. £5 or potentially a tank of fuel? Don’t make sense really.

I came across your place after a friend of ours (also a member on here) was looking for parking and mwaybuddy threw it up. For a fiver I really couldn’t complain and used yourselves a fair few times after, you have also had a few of the other drivers in as well.

Anyway keep up the good work and have a safe in bud

When I was in Bowmans the other week I was told about the deisel thefts, they where parked on the Ind Est by the level crossing and NOT in the truckstop. I’d rather pay £5 and not have a nasty suprise the next morning.
