Well. The A483 is the Welshpool to Newtown Link, then there is the A489 between Newtown and Caersws and from there we have the A470 between Caersws and Llangurig. The A470 heads south and the A44 takes over.

So to clarify my above incorrect statement, mostly because I know the road but clearly didn’t know the road numbers, and by your own statement, that narrows it down to between Caersws and Llangurig.

Oddly enough it reminds me of that bit before Newtown where there are several bumps in the road, 4 or 5 together and the road is narrower than elsewhere. However, the road number doesn’t match there does it.

Later on, the road widens a little.

But then, what do I know :wink:

Spot on! It does get confusing out that way! It is indeed inbetween Caerws & Llangurig :smiley: I know the bit your on about, think thats Middletown on the English/Welsh border, which is the A458 :laughing:
