A5 just heading out of Towcester northbound…and if I remember right the cafe’s name is the Giggling Sausage or Laughing Sausage there were 3 of them I think cant think what the other one was called.

I think I know where you mean Col, were they not called The Sleepy Sausage and The Lazy Sausage. They were run by a guy called Paul who also did some good digs just across he road, that would be about 1980.

I was convinced it was the cafe on the A5 Towcester area. I did a search first of all on Google trustedplaces.com/review/uk/nort … ng-sausage
but could not find it, I then went on to Google Earth and still could not find it 
having said that I went down on the A5 to where Jacks Hill Cafe is or was and it looks nothing like what I remember it to be… is this a sign that times are changing or are we getting old maybe its both

They are the “Sizzling Sausage” the other one is on the A5 just south of Dunstable. Used to frequent both of them, and the Super Sausage in Northampton when I did the coaches.
