Isn’t kantatie 40 the Turku ring road? Valtatie/Highway 8 runs up the west coast from Turku more or less up as far as Oulu.

No, not Raisio nor Salo either. And yes, Zetorpilot was correct that road number 40 is Turku ring road although it doesn’t go through Turku.

I cant work out wheather you have gone off rout to meet up with euromat or you were both on the same ferry or euromat went off route to meet up with you.
maybe none of the above took place or was it just a fluke meeting each other 
or did you meet up to have a coffee some where via the CB radio,

Im not sure if it is Mat, he tries not to get the Spanish trailers when he goes out on tour, i was in Finland in the summer with a trailer exactly the same as that. I went from Naantali to Tampere, the only place i was at that looked anything like that was coming out of Naantali. I wish i could see the registration!!!
mrpj guessed right, Naantali it is, and kindle530 gave more precise location. Picture is taken just after getting out of the gates of the Port of Naantali.
Colin: I’d opt for the fluke meeting each other. I was just visiting at the Naantali customs as my load was going far away and I needed to get the customs stamp to the CMR. I thought about hailing Transam lorries via the CB to ask if there is any TNet users driving them, but my load took most of my attention as it scared me more than a bit.
kindle530: I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I couldn’t read the registration plate clearly. I don’t have good enough camera. But I could read the registration number partially I’m pretty sure first two letters are AY, numbers following it are probably 06, but might also be 55 or 05. I’m pretty sure next two letters are EA, but that’s all I could zoom out of my pictures. Also, note the plurals in this post

I can eliminate myself from kybros picture, i arrived in Naantali around midnight 6th June, did a concert in Tampere at Etelapuisto, the Sauna Open Air Festival, then went back down to Naantali, arrived around 01:00am 8th June, i remember when i arrived in Naantali it was like daylight, but it wasnt quite as bright as your picture.
this was the only truck to overtake me after leaving the docks, as the rest parked up after discharge. this picture was taken at around midnight.
