Many many years ago I was parked up on Dock Road Liverpool waiting to tip the following morning.
I was going for a pint and sumert to eat with the driver parked next to me, he was MT and had put the drive axle on his sheets so they would be there in the morning !
I was just about to go when a gang of lads walked past one asked me if they could watch our trucks while we were gone for a £5 I told them there was no need as I had a German shepard in the cab with me.
One kid at the back shouted ‘‘Can it put out fires’’ !!
