Driving on the left with speed signs in Kilometres. Very distinctive Irish style houses along with the style of the 2 trucks would be the clues I think.
Ok, yes I was in Ireland. Cahersiveen to be precise.
Had an interesting experiance where I walked into a pub with lots of articles on the wall about people who had died fighting a “heroic” war against the English. Lots of tributes to the bloody sunday lot.
At the same time my mate pipes up with “Think I should tell them your in the Army”. (was a squaddie at the time).
They already knew you were in the Army. In those days every Brit was in the Army unless they could prove otherwise. Lets hope those days are dead & buried.
