Yes, it’s called Elvington Airfield

Looks like an ex RAF Handley Page Victor K2 tanker, former V Bomber.
Are you sure rob as from the top of the road
its sign posted york air museum and they
are charging admission on the gate. Also there
is raf planes in the yard ect.

Well it’s all the same place. I used to work for Exel on the estate so know the area well. You didn’t have to pay to get on the estate when I used to go there. Perhaps things have changed.
From halifax way if you turn right you have to
pay at the gates but I am guessing that is all
the airfield and nothing to do with the industrial
estate. I went left to a company called sheppe
international and did not pay and you could get
to other units this way so its probably still the same
