Oh that looks familiar. The second pic is at the turning for South Stainmore looking west along the A66 and the first one is half a mile away at the other end of that small lane. We go biking round there a lot.

I’d say we were nearer our side than Penrith, but only just.

i agree with wolfie about the second pic it is the turning for kaber, barras & tan hill pub.
