Where is this.... with a difference!

does anyone have any idea where the hell this is? (its a picture on the pub wall near our yard, wondered if anyone may have an idea where it is as there is no info with it)

know its vague, but you never know!

looks a bit like Wormwood Scrubs prison but its not there.
However it was probably built around the same time (late 1890’s / early 1900’s …ish) and maybe the same architect or designer.

Could be a town hall or hospital or a university building ?

Looking at the cars I’d say the photo was taken sometime in the 1920’s

I spent a couple of hours searching Google images last night coz its now bugging me where this is/was :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:
