I was thinking about this some two weeks ago - wanted to stop at Braunau where Hitler was born but brother suggested this “adlerhorst”. As we could not localize it somehow and I am not that interested in Hitler I just dropped the idea.

That is correct Carl. Farben (Paint - Colour) Tewes is in the village of Berchtesgaden. Adlerhorst was the HQ closer to Frankfurt in Taunus bei Weisental according to this.
Das erste Führer HQ wurde im Taunus bei Wiesental errichtet und erhielt den Namen Adlerhorst.
Hitler verbrachte dort einige Wochen während der Luftschlacht um England und dann wieder einige Tage im Dezember 1944, während der Ardenennen Offensive.
