Where do you get your laundry done?

After a break of many years I am looking to get back on euro work which may involve up to a couple of months away. Do any of you guys know of any truckstops on the continent, or UK, that have laundry facilities?

Portsmouth truckstop has washing machines.

Ulceby truckstop near immingham has a laundry.

All4Trucks Calais, truckstops in Germany, France. Really depends on where you go…

As stated most Autohofs have dhobi facilities, in France most towns have launderettes plus many ‘elephant bleu’ out of town car wash places have washing machines. Would think Belgie you’d have to go into towns, east europe same although some hotels would let you do it there.Italy I reckon would be biggest problem for this but its hit and miss. DK and Sweden look at the IDS fuel guide, many got machines up here. HTH

IDS calais .all4trucks calais .ashford truckstop.immingham truckstop

Also if u come out of p&o zeebrugge take 1st exit at 2nd roundabout (the 1 before total )and park in layby on ramp 300 yards walk on right side of road is a good laundry €5 a wash fully auto put money in machine for requied token it’s very clean

IDS at Meer has a washer and a dryer, a couple of euros extra and the lady there will do it all herself, hand her a bag with dirty laundry and get a clean one back in a few hours. otherwise the autohofs in germany, bigger stations in france and spain also seem to have them.

all4trucks calais has large machines and tumble dryrrs to ddo the sleeping bag or duvet.a lot of waberer drivers there so set alarm early to beat the queue and the ports of cherbourg.caen or uistreham and le havre and dieppe all have laundrymats open weekends too and on the toll roads in france have laundry machines there was one on the national ten poitiers angouleme way in a shell garage.

Many thanks guys! Great help and advice as always.

The BP at Macon has a good laundry unit. Got an ironing board too…!!
