Surely advertising standards should be having a look at this one, blatantly misleading
I think that smile has been photo shopped on.
Really he’s pointing at his licence and saying “What a waste of ■■■■■■■ money that was. I’m off to stack shelves in Morrisons”

Thats what i thought until i clocked the checked shirt. It legit, Proper trucker right there. And hes wearing lipstick.
the only way hes earning 35k by xmas is if he continues his career as a rent boy. misleading or not,it isn’t any worse than any of the other agency liars. if they had any decent jobs they wouldn’t need to advertise…speaks for itself. if your gullible enough to believe anything like that, then you deserve to be flavour of the month with every agency you sign for.
be fair,he looks like hes just finished a couple of seasons on the grass with the tang shirt etc…all he needs is the Scania jacket and the super hamptons, then onto the trip money with the hooligans from here, and the dosh will be rolling in…
I was delivering to a place in East Kilbride last week and the guy who unloaded me was on about HGV Express. He was an English bloke living up here with his mrs. But he seemed to think that he was guaranteed both a pass and a job that payed minimum of £35k at the end of it. He also reckoned his mrs would be able to give up her job as he would be making so much money driving trucks. I didn’t have the heart to burst his wee bubble.[emoji22]

Keyword in that ad is “upto” (strictly speaking, two words, but never mind). They could have said 50k or even 100k and still not get into bother for it.
It’s a little concerning that 108 people have liked it, wonder what the comments are.
They forgot the bit about being back on the dole by January after the rush

Most of the comments were from current drivers that echoed this thread with a few more [zb]'s, some were quite funny

What a kind and thoughtful man you are,you were obviously thinking of his children
That thumb on his left hand looks well odd - like he’s been sucking on it for too long.
My wife loves that shade of lippy
What would you expect form a broker
Pay later probably with interest
That photo makes me feel ■■■■■■ old, that kid looks like he should still be in school, and in short pants. not driving a truck.
Still I can remember when I was told I didn’t look old enough to be driving one, a few nights out in Aberdeen in winter across the seats with no night heater, and years of roping and sheeting i the ■■■■■■■ rain soon took it’s toll on my baby looks.
