it was run by at least 2 people from north Suffolk on bulk work

Sorry, just to tidy up… twas just the one man, Mr. Lee. Firstly as an owner driver, then employed, but yeah, two owners.

… and if i were being really pedantic, one in North Suffolk, one in South Norfolk   … but i’m not.

Hey all,

I work for Live Promotions who organise Truckfest, we’re looking for some shots of the first ever Truckfest at Newark in 1983, Lewis Collins was there - can anyone help? If so, give me a call on 01775 768661

Many thanks

Louise

Hi. just a note of interest, the red black and white WHITE truck in BJ and the bear paint design, is reg CCR468W. belonged to Fred Lay of Glemsford Suffolk who wrote it off in the early eighties, We bought it in 1985 with a bent chassis and no drive axle, rebuilt it, and sold it on, we have pics if of interest. I saw the cab in a yard in Earls Colne Essex about 8 years ago, so that one is gone!!!

fred lay is or was 4 years ago still about as he wanted to buy my wifes house in glemsford when she moved to the echelon of cornard
