And that P sign just ahead is something you normally wouldn’t see on a road with a hard shoulder.

I was just stating the oboius & not hinting that it was a M/way.
Not many A roads im familliar with have a run off area that big kinda like a M/way. 
Who needs laybys with a run off like that eh !
