Saw this yesterday, no doubt in a few years time it’ll be restored to its former glory.
Not much to give it away unless you’ve seen it or someone has told you where there is an old AEC.
This is resting in East Anglia, is not abandoned and will probably be restored and displayed at its current location.

Longdens? Are they the removals co. from Langham way. The name is familiar being an ex. Colchester boy.
they have a lot of rigids, based at ardleigh, got a lot of older trucks, and a few years ago were running really old tackle

I think Longdens are still at it. They were always general haulage. I dont think they were into household removals ( The turnround wasnt quick enough.)

My mistake I’d got these in my head for some reason.
Longdons are farmers .Wick lane runs thru the middle of the farm…In the old days their trucks were green ( & fast )…Looks like Schofield has taken a wrong turn there…
yeah longdons are still at it, they do a lot of work for my old boss n c cammack and son, and used to buy a lot of their old vehicles (once cammack had run them into the ground!!). they also run a couple out of felixstowe on smeets ferry
ken is a real nice bloke and was still doing the odd bit of driving when i was at cammacks, i will see if i have any picys of their trucks when i get home next week.
they dont have any registered outside the uk to my knowledge.
Maybe Ken is wishfull thinking with the San Antone address.
I knew it was Ken Longdon but I also knew a Kenny Long on Savilles.
