i know i pass those trees fairly regularly but for the life of me i cant remember.

There are some trees like that on the road between M54 and Newtown… And between Newtown and Welshpool…

Angela: hard to give a clue without giving it away but try this…this is from a major road heading to the ‘far east’ 
the pic was taken from the drivers seat whilst stuck in traffic - because being a major road in this area it is only a single carriageway the water feature and facilities in the foreground should help identify this road. somewhere nearby there is a layby with a cafe below the level of the road.
