A recent Facebook post got me wondering how often you read the highway code?
I think advise is that you’re supposed to refresh your memory on a yearly basis.
I imagine most drivers haven’t looked at a copy since passing the driving test.

you have answered your own question!

Used to be 1d from a newsagents, that’s one old penny!! How much is it now?
Read it about 4 years ago - just before I started driving wagons again.
Does it still give details of hand signals for horse drawn vehicles, and indicating to coppers on point duty which direction you wish to go?
Pete.
it was so long ago, it was printed on parchment.
Last week, I carry a copy with me in my work bag.

Its also available as an app.

Me too - got one in my bag with a copy of the VOSA Drivers Hours guide, can both be useful to wave under some ‘know-alls’ nose on odd occasions
