Maybe if Stobby was using that thing called an indicator Gregs may have pulled off but even I would have expected Stobby to go left there and he was dithering across the line
What difference would use of an indicator have made? Gregorys man tried to cut in in a gap you’d struggle to fit a fiesta in, let alone an artic.
Even so, no indicator would suggest going straight on so how do you figure that a left indicator would have saved the day to prevent michael schumacher causing an rta? Even if he had his left indicator on A - gregorys wouldnt see it and B - he’d still have battered into him cutting him up
Dithering over the line he might have been but gregorys man should have held back in that instance, not ploughed on with his foot to the floor.
I know this site is full of stobbie haters but [zb] me, trying to apportion blame to him here is taking it a bit far
Looks like the Gregory’s wagon came steaming round on a green light, he won’t of seen an indicator even if Mr Stobarts had used one.
To assist the TNUK CSI division, looking back a little further to just as they collide, the pic would suggest the Stobarts truck only turned left after it was slammed sideways by the other truck and thus had no intentions of turning left originally. As mentioned, you wouldn’t get a car through there with that concrete barrier in the way, although am extremely surprised it the Gregory’s truck didn’t go front end into it…very lucky driver.

Sorry looking at the footage there was one person totally to blame for that, the ■■■■ in the Gregory’s truck, too fast and not paying attention.
scratch one Gregory driver jobwise when he /she has to explain to their boss,[the driver did actually hit stobbie if I am not mistaken]
I use that junction a lot and this is a regular event. The stobbies driver I think was intending to continue going around the roundabout probably to go east on the M62 so should have had his right hand indicator going, apart from poor lane discipline that was his only fault. The Gregory driver turned left from the right hand lane knowing there was traffic in the left and did so at speed, very dangerous driving. They hit quite hard if you watch the Gregory driver he nearly loses control as the trailer swings around.

If he was a newbie who just panicked I suppose that would explain it.
Pop’s is on the sauce again!
I don’t agree or believe that the majority of Newbies would drive like that, as that maneuver looks more like the handy-work of someone who was overconfident having got away with it before. I think your average newbie would be more cautious and gone for the lack of shame.
That’s what I’d have done, but saying that my ex still has my balls in a jar somewhere!
So what would I know?
