When to apply for digicard

Hi all

So I’ve just sent my application off for my provisional entitlement for class2

As soon as this comes back I’ll get the theory and actual training done

I’m just wondering if it would be a good idea to send off for my digicard now so it’s done and waiting when I finally pass

Just wondering If it’s even possible with only a car licence or is it like class specific ie it sort of reflects your licence entitlments

Just thinking I might save some time later on if it’s done now

Personally I sent for mine straight away and it isn’t licence specific, bear in mind it only takes one or two weeks to come anyway.

All you need is a B licence to apply for a digicard because you could drive a 3.5 tonne van towing a 750 kg trailer under EU regs

I applied for mine as soon as I passed the medical. I’m sure I applied for the digi card and provisional license at the same time.
