I wouldn’t buy anything outside of the vag brand, had 5 mk2’s, a mk3 vr6, my mk4 and a mk1 caddy
The mk2 i got a month ago with 6 months tax and test for £400, gonna make her standard again and let the wife drive it as a daily!
The red van had a german genuine T4 Multivan leather interior, worth £2000 on it’s own!
It was a Tdi auto, tuned to 160bhp, stunning to drive!
I took that all over europe, spain, france, Portugal on a mad road trip in 2008, 3 weeks of mayhem!

now a KP60/61 starlet would be something else, kind of looks like a mk1 fiesta and its rear wheel drive. pretty rare and sought after

Proper motoring.
I bought about 10 years ago, 1 owner with 26k on the clock for £50, the thing wouldnt die, just kept going and going, was abit grim having to de-ice the inside of the car though on a wintery morning
