When I was on agency (said in an Uncle albert voice) I used to wear my hi viz vest, jacket and as an extra precaution leggings. Other drivers loved them, they were always pointing and smiling.

They probably take pride in showing off to the motorway service station customer’s, what a dirty tramp they are, who are keen to use the squalid shower cubicle next to the toilet’s, before they go back to their metal box’s to sleep in for the night.

Yeah well going for a pint in one is a bit odd! But I don’t think it matters really, I do drive in mine because with a memory as bad as mine I’d be constantly walking back to get it at depots after getting told off for inadequate PPE…

Well I suppose that beats sitting alone in a bedsit, trolling the world online, whilst crying themselves to sleep thinking about all the deserters in their personal life.

I wear the full set trousers and hi vis but then it may save my life as i work around a lot of moving and heavy machinery. I guess if you just steer a lorry for 9 hrs and only get out once then there is no real need to wear one except in rdc
