What's this unit?

Hi

I’ve seen several of these recently, brand new on trade plates, heading towards the Russian border.

This is the first time I’ve been able to get the phone out in time to snap one. This one was the last unit in a convoy of four or five.

Any ideas what they are??

freightliners they are coming in droves a lot of the container drivers have them and theyre not afraid to use them,traveling across to st.petersberg on tour with george micheal 32 trucks hammering on when a container overtakes me at a fair rate of knots i back off expecting him to pull in front of me but oh no he carries on past my mate in front(bearing in mind were on a two way) then cuts my mate and takes his front corner out :smiling_imp:

Looks like a Freightliner Columbia, its got the same chrome mirrors and cab windows as them.

i had one come past me heading up to stockholm the other week, there were a few older american trucks at the russian border this summer waiting to get in heading to new owners too

What you said about the overtaking doesn’t surprise me unfortunately - the Finns are constantly complaining about the driving habits of Russians that come over here…
