What's the average Wage for European work

What about taking back load from Eastern Europe TO Germany and then from Germany to UK?

Does this still not worth the hassle?

Orys I understand where your coming from, Some would say anything is better than nothing, however I refuse to run at the rates offered out of Eastern Europe and would prefer to come back empty.

Well i really dont get it. Its not that if you wont accept that they will offer you a better price… they will have no problem to find someone who wlill do it for them…

This way of thinking is strange to osties. They will do it even if they will earn £20 on it, because they know that 20>0. When i was young and was ignoring some small sum of money my grandma told me “you will regret it when this will be the amount you will be short to buy bread and you end hungry.” Thats how people are raised there.

Britons are different. On small scale i saw people throwing away penny coins. On my scale i know some scot who told me many times that “he would not rise bum from his bed for the money i am earning”. I was tsking home about 360 per week, about glasgow average for locsl class 2… two years on hes still on benefit and i earn a good money driving" puddle jumpers he would not touch with the brush stick"…

Now you telling me that you prefere to run empty than earn some money…

Honestly, i dont get that. What you gain by voluntary leaving that job to easterns? You only limit yourself number of svailable jobs, as more of them cominv here, more of them will look for loads out of uk. I really dont understand it is there something i am missing?

Hi Orys,

I understand where you are coming from, but if you have tipped a load in Wroclaw, Poland at 11am in the morning and then accept a load from near by back to Germany this will take time, and time is money and the money that the Eastern Bloc companies pay is not worth the delay.

Lets say you get to your reload at 2pm in the afternoon, you might get loaded or you might have to wait till the morning, but whatever, you are wasting time and money, because you would have been into Germany that evening and hopefully parked up outside your collection point ready to load and go back to UK etc, but if you had taken the bad paying load from Poland to Germany you would still be driving &/or waiting to tip and not be empty till later in the day.

So, you have now got to tip and hope that you can get to your reload all in one day, this will not happen !! because you have most probably run out of hours.

Therefore, I or most of us would rather not waste our time with the bad paying jobs and get loaded in Germany and hopefully get back home and tip asap and then start all over again. !!! or maybe not !!!

Regards
