Radio 1 all day
Except for 20 past and 10 to the hour
(radio 2)
Depends whats on and where i,am and what time it is …
Before 10 pm its mostly anyhow , normally too busy loading or doing a quick local shunt to bother with the radio .
If i,m anywhere that can pick the north south divided show between 10pm and 1am then that goes on .
Anywhere that i can pick kerrang up at 10pm then that will go on for a bit of Tim shaw …
After 1 am it all tends to go a bit pear shaped . If i,m on the M25 then i,ll try to find one of the better pirate type radio stations or see what topics of conversation LBC 97.3 has got .
If all else fails then its over to R5 for a bit of rod sharpe and some doctor carl .
After 4am its back to Radio one for JK and Joel on early breakfast . If i,m still in the truck when chris moyles comes on i,m really in trouble because i,ve been at work too long and pushing into 12 hours
Sometimes i finf myself listening to some tripe because whilst flicking the channels i have to do some kind of driving manouver and then forget to carry on flicking …
kerrang ugly phil in the morning followed by rik shaw. usually out of range by then. tim shaw did breakfast last week and he was close to the bone in the morning
that kerrangatang game at the moment is doing my head in i was sure it was foo fighters doa but some lass guessed that tonite and she was wrong
pmsl = pee myself laughing.
Jonathan Ross, radio2 Saturday morning is funny. I agree the blue room with rob de bank and chris coco is good, adds a slightly unearthly feeling to driving around sat/sun morning with no-one else about. Classic FM a bit as well, nice and relaxing, loud house music for when you are in a hurry, but mostly my i-pod pirate radio station. Can’t stand Chris Moyles though, suppose he’s like Marmite.
local radio stations
before i moved they were
hants - wave 105.2
north hants 210 fm
oxfordshire - fox fm
london - magic
midlands - mercia/anything that i can pick up
dont know any up here
This evening running back from Coventry to Langley I tuned the radio to Radio 2 at 5 o’clock to listen in, well there is a first time for everything,
and I have to say I quite enjoyed the Chris Evans show. Music was OK and some really dumb callers to his Prince quiz thing to laugh at.
My radio gets tuned to Radio 2 all morning until 12.00 when I join Radio 4 for You and Yours, followed by the news and sometimes the 1.30 programme if it is any good. The Archers follow then its back to Radio 2 or stick with Radio 4 if I fancy the play.
Old Git syndrome cutting in I think
I will agree with Neil, I quite enjoyed Chris Evans today.

i dont bother with the radio much these days,i might listern to the steve wright show but even he bugs me with his arragance.
i will miss johnny walker as i enjoyed the banter he and sal have,i dont drive at that time now which suits me as i cant do the ginger winger.
when the new wagons come i will listern more as the stereo is shocking in my wagon,i keep meaning to lister to are tel,but enjoy a bit of peace and quiet instead

You can`t beat a bit of James Whale on 1089 Talk Sport
The guy rips some of the callers to bits,
and they still call back for more.
I listen to satellite radio. You can drive from New York to LA and listen to the same station all the way.It is well worth the $10/month.I haven’t tuned into “terestrial radio” since I’ve owned it,which is 3 years.
Check it out http://www.sirius.com and make your Govt. give it you,or at least an English version
SAGA
up here in central scotland its usually Real Radio till 10 ish espcially Robin and Kat’s breakfast show ,the wind up phone calls are fantastic
