All I can say is those that know, want it kept a close secret.

I think you’ll find the pink house is a few k’s past this village. The pink house, last time I went there sold a starving British truck driver sliced boiled bulls bolox for dinner. Not been back since. He only got one hit at the orderves as well.

Prairie Oysters

When bulls are still young, their testicles are removed to make them more obedient, meatier, and less likely to be aggressive. The testicles are cut off and thrown in a bucket of water. They are peeled, washed, rolled in flour and pepper, and fried in a pan although they can be cooked in a variety of ways - deep-fried whole, cut into broad, thin slices, or marinated.

The pink house was/is on the outskirts of Vitry-le-Francois, the next town past St Dizier coming home. I haven’t been that way for quite some time, (2001) and think it’s on/just past the first new intersection of the new bypass. The pink house I’m talking about had a fenced off piece of waste ground on the right for parking and the pink house was on waste ground to the left, across the road.
