Just driven down the M11 from Cambridge & there’s a big plume of smoke just south of Stanstead. Looks like a Mini Buncefield.
Any ideas ?

There’s a tyre yard fire at Matching Green, in that general area.
Oh ! There goes the ozone layer again then.
Funny that !
Tyres cost a fortune to get rid of & every now & again a used tyre ‘storage depot’ catches fire !
( I wonder why that happens ?)

A busy couple of days for the Essex Fire Crews.
10 Essex appliances on this one plus a couple from Herts.
Yesterday or the day before there was a small fire at the Vopak terminal next to the QEII bridge.
Something like 16 appliances on that one, a couple of which came from LFB.
I saw the smoke at lunchtime from Billericay today

I just made sausage salad for tomorrow & I managed to burn the sausage
