got shown round my new truck and was told id got 2 number plates 
, 1 was for my normal fridge , the other had chain attached and was for tauts and CHIPPER TRAILERS, what are they 
, why a chain on tauts , ive always used a large lacky band or bungee strap.
i would have asked but my head was spinning with all the new stuff i was having to take in.

I take it that you mean a chip liner. That is used to carry wood chips ect. Which is as a normal tautliner but has stonger curtains and about twice as many straps. As for the number plate on a chain it just a bit stonger than a bungee
