What would yous do?

Saaamon:
Ive never had a company call previous employers.

One of my good mates left the RAF before he did his civvy licences. He went straight onto agency work repairing aircraft. With the help of another mate, he made his CV up out of magic, a little research into which aviation companies had gone bust, which gaffers had moved on.

He’s blagged every job he’s got and got some good references since. He’s now working for a major blue chip airline repairing jet engines, and still hasn’t got any qualifications.

I don’t know weather that’s a good thing or not

Honesty is never the best policy when at a job interview.

most of my work has been for northern irish firms, they do informal checks on drivers, they don’t write to one another. usually it’s a quick call to a former employer, and they all seem to know everyone.

Same as my industry Phil, everyone knows everyone else, References are informal.

If he’s repairing commercial aircraft without relevant licencing qualifications he’s a nutter…they’ll hang him out to dry when he gets caught. :open_mouth:

He’s working on jet engines, what could possibly go wrong?

They’ve never left one up there have they?
