you just normally smack the mirrors off and carry on regardless 
If you can get through,i wouldn’t bother making three trips with a trolley.
I go into Fowey with a 6.5t every Wednesday afternoon with upto 8 drops and use the loading bays if empty,if not i stop outside the delivery points.
I have been doing this for the last 11 years and can count the moans and groans from other motorists on one hand.
People know you’re only doing your job in a very awkward location and are understanding.
I’ve also had Traffic Wardens/Police walk past me and none of them have ever mentioned anything about the width restriction.

From looking at your picture it looks very narrow to get a van through that.
I know myself i have some dodgy deliverys and i have problems aswell with routes to peoples houses aswell.

Yes i do work deleivering shopping for online grocery supermarket beginning with “S” lol. Its pretty tight down there but it does fit through. We have some interesting places to deliver get it all in the tourist season, if any are to dodgy i ring them up and tell them to meet me in the nearest carpark (thats if theyve given me a mobile number and not one the other end of the country!)

Ahh Fair enough, I get the same thing aswell and its ususally in some dodgy places in West Yorkshire that i deliver around. I always find you ring the number and its to someone’s house in London. Then you have ring 3 different number to eventually get the customer or someone who is taking the delivery.
The customers are always wanting it to the door but thats not always possible so if its unsafe i will try and get them to come to me but i always get the excuse of “The binman gets up here”
