If you could change one thing about your truck to make it better what would it be and why?
The whole truck … for a Scania
Im lucky enough to have an R series and the only thing i’d change is the seat, its ok but for a high end truck it could be improved, other that that i couldnt ask for a better truck, decent engine, loads of toys.
i agree the whole truck for a scania although the daf does have a comfy bed and i would have a manual gearbox
I am a scania fan but got a premium 6 weeks ago and i am rather pleased with it.I have some ideas for scania on making the cab better for the driver but doubt they would listen!
id change the steering wheel adjustment on my daf 105 xf to the one from a scania i like the wheel up nice and close and can never seem to get the wheel right

I’d change that on a cf too.
On my shovel, I’d swap the Cat bucket for a Liebherr one; Cat buckets are crap for stuff sticking whereas our Liebherr can pick up wet soil and stay clean.
I would like a manual gearbox, but the rest is OKish.
The whole thing for a Scania, with a manual box!!
The gearbox. Scania’s opticruise might be ok for distance work but multidropping in a rigid can be a right pain. Give me a manual anyday.
I have a renault would change a lot of it tbh but then most of it is my own hight being 147 cm ( 4’10" in old money ) need I say any more although do like the 3 cup holders in it & I do have a manual gear box
Agree the bunk in the daf in nice as well as the top bunk in a Merc Actros
The whole Scania for a complete Volvo
i would like a stralis cab with a daf bunk on a volvo chassis.
Wheel Nut:
The whole Scania for a complete Volvo
Dont think I would have a Scania either having driven them as well as others I drive what the boss buys & pays for unfortunately it is not up to me as he is paying the bills as well as my wages
If i could change my truck for the better, then I guess it would have to be making the ownership mine instead of the firms.
The whole thing, I will take the MAN TGM please.
Fit a full flush and after panic button, so I wouldn’t have to go outside in the winter!
Air con would be nice, touch of the “Betty Swallox” of late
I would make my 61 plate XL Globetrotter a medium height chassis instead of the usual GB high chassis spec, the same height as E.T. Morris’s fh’s. (lower height 5th wheel and 70 instead of 80 profile tyres)
and make it a left ■■■■■■.
also i would have a tag axle instead of a mid lift
