Pat Hasler:
2011 Frieghtliner Cascadia, load of room and quite advanced compared to the dinosaurs they make over here, still prefer a Scania though.
sounds bit like the driver there to Pat lol

A varitey of Merc Axors, doesn’t seem to be many Iveco drivers in here! Not many people seem to like Renaults id love to go for a drive in a Magnum.
Volvo FM13 Sleeper with 460bhp & ishift. Good lorry, brilliant gearbox but given my time again it’d be a Scania R series.

I’m not surprised, if the Eurocargo I drove today is anything to go by. 55plate 7.5tonner, allegedly 170bhp. Utterly gutless, and judging from the rattling interior, I can see where all the plastic from our recycling boxes has gone.
this is mine its on a 61 plate
This is what I drive, but tomorrow on a 7.5 ton merc like the one on the back, make a change
Cheers Ade
I’m driving a daf 85 its very noisy,must be because its,a day,cab.
Its powerful, can tug a lot of weight.
But slippy on the hills,
I have to honest,it never breaks down.
The,exhaust brake is phenomenal.its very good.
Only complaint is its noisy on the revs.
The leg room is good
I used to drive a modern scania, but the leg, room was terrible.
If,scania had the leg room of,the daf, then id have to vote for the, scania.
But it,doesn’t so the,daf
is better ,
That’s it ,
Happy trucking and,take,your,time.

Great to see a sensible comment for once .
One does try.
Oh and given the, choice if I had one, it would have to be Mercedes.
This is my allocated unit…unless it’s not back from a late shift when I get in,in which case it’s anything going spare
Iveco active space 450 , wasn’t sure at the start as the inside is screwed together ,but the room inside is second to none ,the top bunk is comfy and driving position is good! Not convinced that two pedal automatics are the way to go but I’m old fashioned!
This is my old girl, into her 14th year.
Scania R480 highline 6x2 62 reg @58 mph nothing gets passed it apart from a v8 scania on a steep hill

When you say no leg room, what are you wanting to do with your legs?
MAN TGS 26.440 narrow cab, for our work (days) its got pretty much all you need , although some of the fleet are not proving very reliable
2007 FM9 18 tonner.
Best 4 wheeler I’ve driven by a long shot, 12 speed I-shift is almost faultless, 300hp gives a good power to weight ratio, comfortable seats and bed and everything feels solid and well put together.
Only negatives are internal storage space isn’t great and it’s a bit weighty unladen compared to some of our other 18 tonners.
A much nicer drive than the 2010 Axor I had before it.
2008 fm13 480 pulls like a train lovely motor
