I thought about this the other day, do all trucks have cigarette lighter charging points?
Everything I driven has
Most if not all will have 12/24 volt charging points
Better to take about 3 pens to write things down.
Why 3? keep 1 in cab and 1 to use when outside and the last 1 as a spare.

Currently being a fork driver. … I can agree with your statement… lol. Start my lessons beginning of Feb tho so hopefully not a forkie too much longer.
Put the pens in & notebook
Also
Bog roll, tea towel, a few carriers, torch (and spare battery), sunglasses, deodorant and toothbrush etc, adjustable.
Baby wipes always a good one.

A good book too or ipad/phone with wifi access to surf TNUK.

Im hoping they provide one and I don’t have to use my own which is well out of date.
If you don’t have one already, ask for a spare taco roll. Or a tacho roll if you’re not hungry!

Not got one. TBH I know nothing about how to work a tacho. Working the tacho and getting my head round the driver hours laws is worrying me more than the prospect of driving.
