Nothing stopping you asking at interview. If they are hesitant to say, probably got something to hide.
My experience is that those companies into it are in complete denial about it.
- Day cabs (even on day work)
- traffic managers/planners that cannot do their job.
- defects no dealt with in a timely manner.
- more than 6 drops a day (unless they are close together)
- constantly being phoned for updates!
- low pay/less than 50 hours a week
Full load handball or any running bent.
Anything else taken under consideration.
If there’s a separate office and drivers car-park…speaks volume about the firm, especially if the office is tarmac and the drivers is a pot-holed muddy ■■■■-hole.
Avoid any co with a HR department.

Yeah they do mate. Although it’s got sweet f a to do with your welfare, it’s all about corporate arse covering.
I’ve worked at firms that have gone from being small, efficient, close knit and fun places to expanding to an extent where all the bottom feeders such as HR sense an opportunity to come in. Once they are in the Co loses touch with it’s employees as they become merely an overhead as opposed to an asset.
I absolutely understand any companies need to protect itself in this day and age, but they invariably become a miserable and soulless place to work.
