Some rta on a M.way between 2 trucks.
Looks not too bad, no fatalities afaik, all kinda routine as far as m.way rta.s concerning trucks are concerned…sh happens.
Then I read the comments from random public members.
The old misinformed chestnuts…move freight to rail, and load on smaller vehicles, too many artics…yawn yawn.
But read the comments about trucks on the road and observations on standards of driving anongst many truckers…now up to a point I don’t give a rat’s ass what sone her ert in an Audi thinks, but thing is it pains me to say some of it is embarrasinglly accurate.tbf.
Any thoughts or comments?
its the same across the board… entitled ■■■■ wits that think they have the god given right to do what they like. you only have to go 5 mile on any motorway and you will come across a smashed up audi or bmw at least twice a week. add the attitude to a 44 tonne truck and the result is inevitable
add to that the big whales swallowing up the smaller decent firms and filling it with tear arses trying to do a 5 hour run in 4.5 no time for a proper break or anything. not to mention those that have 2 or 3 sets of cards running bent all the time that these companies love.
i used to see a particular company every night on the m11 they would spend the entire time in the middle lane. waste of time flashing them in once they were past you as they would spend the next 10 minuets overtaking the truck in front.
