How old are you 12?

Lets hope you don’t suffer from Scoliosis or Multiple Sclerosis in later life

Having a serious illness or disability doesn’t give you the right to park thoughtlessly though does it? A blue badge is an aid to assist people with problems not a ticket to do what the ■■■■ you like and ■■■■ everyone else! :unamused:

No one knows if the BMW had a blue badge in it or not, but there is a lot of misinformation being spieled about it, it started here.

I stand corrected! The blue badge scheme is a great idea that has been widely abused unfortunately. I can’t remember the last time I saw somebody using a blue badge who didn’t appear quite capable of using a normal parking space. The use of it should only be permitted if the badge holder is actually in the vehicle. That would require somebody to enforce it though…

It already is, if I drop my partner off in a blue badge space for an appointment. I cannot wait in the car for her. I must then move the car. I cannot nip to the shops and use her badge if she is at home, even if it is to pick painkillers up for her.

If you have a badge you must park thoughtfully, not anywhere you like, but as with life someone will take the ■■■■. Not everyone does though, so your sweeping statements (again) are not true.

I wish I could simply return this badge to the council and she was suddenly able to have an active life without constant pain, lack of sleep and lack of mobility!

My dad did hae a blue badge even though he looked healthy but what you could not see was that his heart was not that god 17 yr ago it stopped for 8.5 min which he did recover from but it did effect some of the thing he did why should he give up on driving which he was fine with  ok the last couple years as he got older he did drive less

I have a fracture to the back but you cant see that ( although I dont have a blue badge atm but could in future ) why should I give up driving for this

As has been said there is a lot of misuses with this & misunderstanding

As for the OP you may have to get used to things like that ( I would have called the fire brigade as they can & will move a vehicle as if they cant get down a street illegal as they need access at all times )
