Its obviously a talking point !
STOREY.
noticed it today as well
It’s an earth sculpture paid for by English Heritage, that’s the answer I got when I took one of our machines to it.
Hey 8Wheels,
You’re right it’s artwork!
We had a part in measuring it up prior to development
I didn’t realise you was involved with that.
It was for Woodland Trust and paid for by a consortium called GreenArc? Whoever they are, loads of bodies involved in the funding of this stuff though. Read it in a construction article recently or here http://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/en/our-woods/theydonbois/Pages/ltlartwork.aspx?wood=5592#.Um1hLVPG_Cc if anyone really interested.
I don’t understand what it is supposed to represent though

It’s a very satisfying structure to look at; but it’s point?
I’m inclined to put it into “eco bollox”/“art for art’s sake bollox” box.
Jayseabea,
Hahahahahahahahaha certainly looks like that’s what they wanted to achieve.

What is the point of any art? Discuss
but you might have answered the question with very satisfying to look at?
