If I’ve got shorts & a polo shirt on, to all intents & purposes I don’t have any cos you can’t see them, I was in my 40’s before I got my first as I fully believe in “act in haste, repent at leisure” so I waited till I was certain I wanted one & so far definately no regrets!! (& I’ve got a few tats now)

I wont get anymore on my arms or anywhere where they can be seen. There just for me at the end of the day and I think appearance does matter as has been mentioned like at a wedding, job interview, even meeting and socialising with people.

I had a tattoo years ago that was done by a mate with indian ink and a needle, fortunately he didn’t go in deep enough and after about 6 years it faded to nothing.I know if I was in charge and some guy walked in with tats from head to toe and long hair he wouldn’t get a look in. Sorry if my commeny offends anyone but a speak honestly.so who does the driving, the guy or the TATTOO Pat? Yes they might be representing YOUR company in future, but as you said in your first sentence, YOU HAD ONE, albeit in Indian ink
I’m covered in them, but I’ve no regrets as from the neck upwards, it’s my White skin only! Was thinking about having STOBART ON MY HEAD THOUGH!

My wife has a few, and when I first met her I told her that only seamen and hookers have tattoos, and that she doesnt look like a seaman…
went newquay last aug and when it rained all day(tues) i decided get my 1st tribal on upper right arm… then decided when it rained again on the thurs id get one on the left arm then a month later got the kids names on my left arm under band… then tried get “lufc” on my right arm, was refused by a couple of places cus it was footy related WTF but got it done at a local place in pinner, while waiting i was reading the tat mags and saw a nice tribal cross and then got that on the left shoulder, then saw a another in a mag and got the top of right arm done… think im done now.
I’ve had one lasered off too now that hurts.

Bit like Pat when did have comp didnt employ anyone with tatts that you could see but as my dad dint interview them he was very fussy on things like that
My daughter does have some but her b/f dosent neither does my son have any & he wont think daughter is done although you cant see hers due to them being on her rib cage
No big deal having tatts these days,look at Beckham,other sporty types,musos,actors etc: Big change from the days when only cons,hookers,sailors had them.
I’ve got them on both arms,not ar$ed what anybody thinks,about me/them. 
I’ve got a full sleeve on my left arm , includes stars , skulls , an 8 ball ,a rose etc etc . Every piece has a personal meaning to me . Also have a tribal around my right ankle and a couple of stars on the foot . My Mrs hates tattoos .

I have three at the mo two which i love and one that im not as keen on. My favourite is Pegasus on my arm which i love, i also have a horse head and horse shoe on my wrist.The one i regret a little is my ‘tramp stamp’ (i was 19 and ■■■■■■■ was all the range) but im thinking once i pass my C+E am going to look at getting it modified/Lasered and get some sort of truck design on the bottom of my back, that way all my tats will mean something and not just be random crap. I also have plans to get a portrait of each of my horses heads on my shoulder.

In this day and age folk shouldnt judge people for having a tattoo but it wont ever stop.I have three and nobody has ever been bothered by them.Only one is visible though unless i wear shorts or became vain and bought a muscle t-shirt! Just because you have a tattoo on your hands doesnt mean you cant do the job aswell.I’m not into facial tattoos but neck ones are ok depending on what it is.If i was an employer i wouldnt care if they had them as long as personal hygene wasnt an issue.Someone with a tattoo can still look presntable/smart.I will be getting a full sleeve eventually and my employer wont bat an eye lid.My attitude is if you dont like dont look.
