Hello from Stoneridge in Dundee…
From the photo I can confirm that this is an older model of the SE5000 - the SE5000 Rev 6
Downloadable guides are available for all versions of the SE5000 here (rev 6 is listed at the bottom):

You can also download a simulator for the Rev6 to your PC (link at the top of the page)
Support FAQs are also listed here (some of these only apply to the more recent versions of the SE5000):

Hope this helps!
A little game you can play with this, eject the card, pull down on both sides of the drawer. Your card will then fly out! You gotta try and catch it in your teeth!

I’ve got a new one. Saves me boatloads of time. Far better than Siemens/VDO
yep the series 3 digi’s in all tacho’s are briliant. I’ve got a new stoneridge, and if you bang on that mode button the second those wheels stop rolling it saves you even more time when queing
I know some who’ve had new digi tacho’s fitted into older motors, the saving in driving time or extra drivng time made avaliable pays back long before the year is out, especialy if you do a lot of town work or queing

Just a quiery, why does POA cancel your driving time after 45mins block or aggregate, As far I’m aware POA does not count as break for drivers hours rules, and unless your on the ball, this can catch you out if you think you’ve cleared a 4hrs 30 min drive

As far as saving time is concerned the new Stoneridge should be the same as the new Siemens.
They both record activities the same way, they’re both set-up to operate according to the latest EU tachograph specification regulations.
I know that’s what you’d think, and the later Siemens are way better than the older ones, obviously.
But I can only speak from experience, and when I go out in one of our 12 plates with a Siemens in it, my driving hours are well up on what I achieve in my 13 plate with a Stoneridge. Usually about 20 minutes plus if I’m multi dropping in London

Summat to do with it being of German origin. The Germans (and possibly other on the continent) can use POA as a break. If this happens to you where POA clears your driving time, press down once to get your daily driving time. It should stay on this screen until you press otherwise.

You’re saying that the Germans don’t work to the same rules as the rest of us then ?

Are you sure
I’m under the impression that with regard to WTD/RTD rules the 1st 30mins of a POA period will count as 30 mins break to be taken within/at 6 hours work, though I’m prepared to be corrected. But I find it strange that a fellow EU nation, especialy Germany would operate the EU drivers hours rules differently to how they’ve been laid down
well well well, you learn something everyday
Thanks for the tip with regard to showing your drive time
