Looks like Chirk.

A5, River Severn at Montford Bridge?

BJD - Thanks for your answer, but the question is what road and over what river does it span?

Martin - Thanks for your answer, good suggestion but its not the A5 or River Severn.

You’re both not a million miles away though!

A483, River Dee

River Dee & A5/483 which are threaded at this point very near Chirk

A totally correct answer from Martin - Well done!

Cheers BJD, a partially correct answer - it’s not quite the A5/483 at that point.

The correct answer is the A483 as it crosses, 130 feet above, the River Dee at Newbridge Viaduct.

The A5 converges with the A483 at a point about 0.75 mile further south of Newbridge Viaduct at Chirk roundabout.

Continuing South from Chirk roundabout for about 1.75 miles towards Gledrid Roundabout, the converged A5/A483 then crosses the River Ceriog, (which is a tributary of the Dee) on another similar looking viaduct - which, for some reason, unlike Newbridge is devoid of the wind-socks although the Ceriog is a similar distance below.

Thanks for taking part!
