What part of TNUK do you frequent the most?

Personally, I spend most of my time on these, (Old Time Lorries) pages. When I was an O/D I regularly perused the O/D’s pages, I still do but not as often. The Professional Drivers pages (IMO)  :imp: :imp: should be renamed the whinger’s and grass up pages. I don’t spend much time on there, life is to short to volunteer for misery!!! The Pictures page is great, and the jobs page reflects the sad state of our industry and the country in general. Regards Kevmac47. (tin hat and body armour in place) :unamused: :unamused:

pretty well the same as you key , mostly on old timers , enjoy the craic , have a laugh and a little sadness when another one shuffles off to wherever old lorry drivers go . it is surprising even after all these years how much you can learn and remember about lorry driving when it was a proper job . how often do we think "i wish i had had a go at that job " ? but we play the cards we are dealt and do the work available where we lived . it is nice to be in touch with men who have done those jobs and hear their tales . if i feel a bit down i go on "professional drivers " because it cheers me up to read some of the drivel they come out with , most old gaffers would have kicked their arses out the gate in short order , but that is how the job is now , the good years are gone never to return . i just wish i could have known a lot of the chaps on here when we were working , cheers , dave

I take the easy route to see whats going on in Forum and just click on heading that interests me…
