What part of TNUK do you frequent the most?

Personally, I spend most of my time on these, (Old Time Lorries) pages. When I was an O/D I regularly perused the O/D’s pages, I still do but not as often. The Professional Drivers pages (IMO)  :imp: :imp: should be renamed the whinger’s and grass up pages. I don’t spend much time on there, life is to short to volunteer for misery!!! The Pictures page is great, and the jobs page reflects the sad state of our industry and the country in general. Regards Kevmac47. Sorry, Double post OOPS!!!

Being retired nowadays mostly I am here or the photo slot.

Sorry, deleted

And again, sorry…bloody computers.

Same as Mr. Jake here. I haven’t a great deal of interest in the new “everything looks the same” road haulage vehicles and with all the rules and regulations and endless traffic congestion it’s nice to be among the older folk and re live our younger days when lorry driving and all that went with it was an art. Just look at the roping and sheeting, I could do it but I was never as neat and tidy as Mr. Bewicks team of lads.

Hi, Lads ,Iam like your selfs put out to grass back legs have gone so on T N UK ,most of the day and love all the proper lorryies with no power steering and gear levers some i drove had two ,idont miss the cracks on my fingers in the Winter with roping and sheeting some times wore gloves but hands used to stink , They say thay were the good old days , i wonder ,Cheers Barry

70% of my time I’m on this forum, the other 30% I float around the other forums. This is the main one for me,as the older wagons are what I drove. The new motors haven’t the character to interest me these days.
Also most of my generation are on here.
Cheers Dave.

This part mostly as I like to see what things will be like when eventually I am old like Harry, Norman, Berwick, Rigsby etc, I also look at the Photo section and the ‘Professional’ forum to see (1) what I am missing and (2) if they have found any more new excuses for not taking a truck out such as the ashtray being full or the radio is stuck on BBC radio 4. :unamused:

Pete.

The people that own/run this site have had problems for the last two days Casey. They are working on it apparently.
Cheers Dave.

Thanks, Dave. Glad it can’t be blamed on me for once!

Just Old time lorries, companies and drivers and Transport photo forum for me.

Old time wagons, and the photo board in “after hours”

(“after hours” - that being about 3.00-5.00am I suppose  )

Its got to be the Old Time Lorries,Companies & Drivers 1st for me,I have caught up with a few lads that I haven’t seen or heard from for years + made acquaintances with a lot more since joining in 2010 and then 2nd onto the Transport Photo Forum where I can add a few pics that I take at the shows.
