What lockdown?

Stir crazyness, jealousy/suspicion will become common soon. ‘Lockdown/Covid Rage’ anyone…

I said this same thing to the wife earlier on, people stuck in their houses for weeks will start to get jealous of the essential workers who can still go out, and they will start to report people who walk their dog more than once a day or think others are making non essential journeys.

Quite enjoying lockdown tbh.

Come to terms with not going to pub…And not having a haircut(Gonna go full grizzly adams)

Absolute joy being on the roads this week.
4 drops in Manchester today, and it’s like a scene from walking dead.
Just enjoying a glass of milk+
Should get the lawns cut tomorrow.

I shall carry on my normal life this weekend and will be going out on my bike, I have paid road tax and insurance and none of that is being returned, so I have paid for it and I shall use it.

The thing with people taking advantage of the rules and interpreting them for their own way is that eventually those options get closed down like they have been now with latest government advice.

gov.uk/government/news/coro … een-spaces

“Please use the following guidance in order to stay safe:stay local and use open spaces near to your home where possible – do not travel unnecessarily”

So stay local.

I expect tougher restrictions next week after everyone piles into essential B&Q over the weekend to purchase essential BBQs and garden furniture. Because people cant help themselves.

According to the BBC local news the ■■■■■■■ police are going to be stopping caravans and motor homes entering the county and sending them back from where they came.

I heard another thing about ■■■■■■■ Police, (it may be just drivercrap who knows :unamused: ), but apparentlly they have been turning back Scottish log trucks on their way to Iggesunds Workington, to their depots saying that it aint essential haulage.

We got told the wood supply chain is classed as esssential… pallets ,packaging, power stations etc… though i am still delivering bark to B&Q’s even though they are closed…

On telly now, government saying lockdown likely to last for 3 to 6 months “to assess the benefits”. Let’s see the handwringers on here still bleating STAY . AT . HOME . when they and everyone else is going out of their mind after a few weeks of being cooped up inside, never mind months of it. It will never happen. The lower echelons of society with nothing to lose will be out on streets rioting and looting if this is still in place in couple of weeks. It’s already happening in southern Italy because the lockdown is doing absolutely nothing to stop the spread and deaths.

my local council have just blocked off the access roads to the dog walking/fishing dams around me…instantly theres now 30 or so cars that would normally be parked in the carpark are now parked along the road which has no parking restrictions on it with the same masses out waling and sitting next to each other fishing.
if theyre going to do it,then get on with it and do it right,or dont waste money and effort with the usual clusterballsup

Now just clamp all the cars parked on the road.
They are out getting exercise?
Let them walk home. Job done.
.

The problem is the legislation as it stands does not say anything about the following
How many times per day you can exercise
How long you can exercise
Where you can exercise
There is also no mention of not being allowed to travel to a location by car to exercise
So many grey areas in the legislation that even law chambers are saying about the above not being mentioned it’s like where I live if I was to go out exercise my dogs I counted 23 people out doing the same all in close proximity but travel 5 miles to a secluded spot and no one so the risk is reduced
The advice being given contradicts what is now the law so a massive balls up in effect

You’ll know when the public are starting to take the ■■■■ - when someone walking a dog using a cycle - turns up in a supermarket having jumped the queue, and then sits down on one of the popmobility scooters to do their shopping, and uses their non-guide dog to pull it like a husky.
