Bit of an odd occurrence tonight had just had tea and the doorbell went,I assumed it was my sons mate from next door as he spends a lot of time between houses (his and ours)as does my son…anyway I’m babbling!
Opened the door and it was a carol singer but a young ■■■■■■■ her own maybe 10 years old if that, told her it was too early but thought it was odd this young ■■■■■■■ her own in the dark knocking on people’s houses, anyway went out to put the bin out as she walked up the drive and she got into a car and the car drive to the next house and she got out and again knocked on and started singing…so some “parent” is driving their kid around getting their kid to scrounge money off people…do people have no shame!
could have been simon cowell testing out a new show ,i would have taken the reg ,
Thanks for the reminder, I have now put two buckets of water by the door…
im now googling, how to wire your doorbell up to the national grid…just out of curiosity, were they of English /local origin?
Seems pretty rare now to have carol singers at the door. I honestly cant remember the last time i had any. Never had a problem with 2 or 3 youngsters giving it a spirited go, but the scrotes who
d growl a couple of discordant, poorly worded grunts in your general direction and expect a cheery financial reward for it used to ■■■■ me off.
They always reminded me of Dom Joly`s awful, wailing gypsy violinist sketches!
I’d have went to the parents car and asked them WTF they were doing.
